Hannah + Taylor :: Fort Worden Wedding
If you’re hoping to get a true PNW feel to your wedding day, have it on the water in Seattle in January. That morning at Fort Worden, we had snow (yeah, seriously), wind, and even glorious sun. Hannah + Taylor’s wedding day experienced pretty much every season inside a 10 hour span, and I wouldn’t of had it any other way!
Now, on to Hannah, the most amazingly gorgeous bride who rocked her gown and then went and kicked some ass on the beach in the wind for portraits. Hannah + Taylor were absolute rockstars. 50 mph gusts of wind just made every frame that much more epic. Seaspray came crashing over the breakwater by the lighthouse, the gusts of wind filled Hannah’s train creating the coolest shapes, Taylor’s hair mostly stayed in place, I mean,… talk about a photographer’s dream.
I could go on, but it’s really just about how amazing this couple is. Their focus on friends and family shined through. The real tears, the genuine smiles, the hugs, the laughs, they all framed a day that I won’t soon forget (Also, the shirtless men dancing later in the evening, I won’t forget that either). I can’t thank you enough, Hannah + Taylor, for having me. Thank you so much for trusting me with your day, and letting nature blast you for epic photos.
